Teaching Philosophy:
"As a teacher what do you make?"
"I make a difference."-Taylor Mali (TED Talk)
My philosophy for my classroom will be to have a safe and inviting environment. I want all students to feel that they can be themselves and take a step out of their comfort zone within the classroom. I want the students to know that making mistakes is the best way to learn and get better at something, so I want to encourage students to try new things and not be scared to fail. I also think that building relationships with students is the most important thing in my classroom, so taking time to get to know each and every one of them right away is my number one priority. I also want my students to have options and choices throughout the classroom along with different activities and materials to explore. I believe that all types of learners should be able to be exposed to ways that they find most successful to them and their learning.
